Default Piping Format

I'm using Visio to create a piping diagram using the Pipelines template, and
I notice that the horizontal lines create a gap to let the vertical lines
cross without creating the impression that they touch. I like this, but there
are instances where I DO want them to touch. Where is this feature
controlled? It is a simple format that I can turn on/off?

Default Piping Format

Visio 2003.
With the shape selected
Menu, Format, Behaviour, Connector, Line Jumps, "To Neither".
I admit "Never" in the listbox is a bit confusing.
