Viewer 2007 doesn't associate/open
Hi, I cannot get the Viewer to invoke...only the full
version will associate/open -- current configuration: Visio 2007 Standard SP2 with Visio 2007 Viewer SP2 on 2008 TS / IE7. I've done the usual per prior successful environments, ie installing Viewer last/after full version etc...no deal... Here are the exact conditions, only they are running 2003 viewer -- I have the same suspect windows update installed (KB973525): http://social.answers.microsoft.com/...2-df7848143bcd I don't see an official solution from MS on this -- if there is one/I've missed it, please confirm....I'm looking for a permanent fix for this, not wanting to remove a 'critical' update in order to fix a glitch or hack around only to have it be undone with the next security update... please advise, Thanks- |

Viewer 2007 doesn't associate/open
Unfortunately the world is filled with people who are looking to do things
that many others would consider unethical, security patches are now a fact of life and they are going to remain a moving target. It's up to us individually to decide what risk/reward we want to live with. David Parker has tried to keep on top of the viewer stuff, you might check over here http://bvisual.spaces.live.com/blog/...3A9!1897.entry al "the_StreaK_" wrote in message ...
