Default Reminders don't dismiss when calendar item moved to the future

I'm using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Pro. Office 2003 SP3 is installed.
Normally when a calendar reminder pops up in Outlook, if I double-click the
appointment in the Reminders popup to open the Appointment and I change the
date to a date in the future, then close and save it, the reminder is
automatically dismissed (disappears from the Reminders popup). But for a
couple of months the reminder does not dismiss and I have to click the
dismiss button to remove it from the Reminders window. Does anyone know of a
fix for this behavior?

Thanks,
Don

Use the /cleanreminders switch. Close Outlook, click the Windows Start
button, click Run, and type in the box "outlook.exe /cleanreminders" (without
the quotes).

I tried this but unfortunately it did not fix the problem.

Last try: the /resetfolders switch.

Sorry, I'm out of ideas...if you don't get any more replies in this thread,
you can make a new post and make sure you mention that you've already tried
those three switches.
