Edit text in functional band header
When using functional bands, there are two header shapes above the band. I've
entered text in both bands and used ShapeSheet to modify the height of the headers to .5. I have done this on 2 different sheets. In one sheet, I can edit the text in the top header when I double click the shape. I cannot edit the text of the bottom header unless I select the shape and start typing, which overrides all the previous text. In the second sheet, I cannot edit the text in the top header. I can only edit the bottom header text when double clicking on the shape. How can I edit the text in both shapes? And is there a way to set the height separate for each of these header shapes? thanks! |

Select the lower part of the header, then select the Texttool from the toolbar (the capital A). That will put you into text edit mode. Exit by clicking the pointer tool. And is there a way to set the height separate for each of these header shapes? Select the top part of the shape, menu Window - Show Shapesheet edit the cell User.GridRounding, it is normally 5mm*Sheet1!User.AntiScale (0.25*Sheet1!User.AntiScale in US unit pages) Change the 5mm or 0.25 to whatever suits. -- Regards, Paul Herber, Sandrila Ltd. Edit text in functional band header
Follow up results:
Selecting the texttool from the toolbar allowed me to edit the text in both header shapes. Not sure why I didn't think of that before! Guess I was just used to double clicking the shape. Thank you! However, when changing the formula of the User.GridRounding cell in the Shapesheet screen....it still changes the height of both the upper and lower parts of the header. And when I select just the lower header shape, I do not have the User.GridRounding cell option. No big deal...I can live with both of them the same height.
