Locking Worksheet Security Name
In my old MS Word version, pre-2007, I was able to lock my worksheet with my
password and a number at the end. Example--abcdef2009. Now, since I got 2007, I can't lock it with the number. I type in the abcdef2009 and a window pops up to confirm, which I do, then I get another window saying the passwords don't match, but if I remove the number at the end it closes fine. Why won't it accept the number? -- Thanks, Mumsy |

Locking Worksheet Security Name
Hi Mumsy,
You're doing you best to confuse us here referring to MS Word having worksheets. I'm sure (hope) you mean MS Excel worksheets. Now then abcdef2009 is a perfectly acceptable worksheet protection password and if your getting an error I suspect you're mis-typing. Be aware that passwords are case sensitive. -- Mike When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the question.
