Default adding stats from multiple sheets

I run a hockey tournament and I am trying to keep the stats in a nice excel
file. In a perfect world, the front sheet will show the total stats for each
player from every year. I want each sheet then to be for each season the
tournament is played. I can't figure out how to have the front sheet add up
all the totals of things from the other sheets. There are different players
every year so the players won't be in the same slots on different sheets. I
need it to "read" the players name and take that row of stats and add it on
to the front page. That way, I can take the front page and put it in order
of whatever stats I want. It will be a nice way to keep track of things and
hopefully someday I can put the full history on our website
(www.lanse3on3.com). Ideally, I would do all of this online and be able to
export it from that but I can't do SQL yet. (or any other suggestions on how
to do it?) So basically put, the front page will have totals for each player
from all the years they played (games, goals, goals per game, and record).
The other sheets will be labeled by the year and it will have the players
name, games, goals, goals per game, and record. my email is
if you need any more information. thanks a lot for
your help and i look forward to hearing from anybody.
