Find and Replace Locks Up Word
I have a user that frequently uses Find and Replace on long documents in
Word 2002 and Word frequently locks up as he's stepping through the Find and Replace process. It doesn't lock up Word every time he uses Find and Replace, but it happens very, very frequently. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and how we might fix it? |

It is probably a minor corruption in template or registry - see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...peningWord.htm (and don't be deterred by the page title). -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Karine Rivet wrote: I have a user that frequently uses Find and Replace on long documents in Word 2002 and Word frequently locks up as he's stepping through the Find and Replace process.
