Default Excel 2000

I have a program that runs on excel, when I try to open
the program an error appears: 16 Bit windows subsystem. An
installable virtual device driver failed dll
initialization. The application then closes. However, I
can open excel fine but not the application.
I have excel 2000 Sr1/ Win2K Sp4
Thanks,
Consuelo
