Hello

When you right click on a picture to email it, you are asked if you want
Windows to reduce it's size which I usually want to do. If you want to
email several pictures, it's easy if they are in the same folder.

If they are in separate folders, how do you downsize them all?

Thanks

You don't.

You could create a new folder and copy the pix there first. Not really
that big a chore.

Are these pix the you take with your own camera. FWIW, I take a lot of pix
myself. I download them to a folder and resize them immediately, and then
move them to the folder they will reside in permanently.

What I mean by immediately is:

I have a folder called Pix Original. Another called Pix Resized. I drag
all the pix on my camera to the Pix Original folder. I open the Resizer
program, set the size, (i.e. was 600 x ???, I change the 600 to 400). I
click the Resize button and all the pix are sent to the Pix Resized
folder. Those folders are preset as origin and destination folders in the
Resizer program.

From the Pix Resized folder, I drag the pix to whatever folder I want them
in. Already small enough to e-mail. It may sound like a lot of work, but I
do all that in less than 5 minutes.

Asked/Answered in WinXP General. If you must make identical posts to
multiple newsgroups, please cross-post one (1) message to all of them.
Thank you.
