2007: Fields
Some of my 2003 templates have reference fields which are filled out by the user when a
new document is started. Alt-A/F9 gets the ball rolling. Well and good; it still works in 2007. Except the user input boxes now contain a lengthy explanation along the lines of "This e-mail contains fields . . . ." Well, the templates have nothing to do with e-mail and I find the prompting irritating after a while. How can I alter the text? rs |

2007: Fields
Hi Tcebob,
Some of my 2003 templates have reference fields which are filled out by the user when a new document is started. I see what you're talking about. Since I rarely use Fillin fields, I hadn't seen this before. But I'm going to enter a bug-report on it. For the moment, I don't think there's anything you can do about this.
