Default how to make a postcard

4 - POSTCARDS & MAIL MERGE: MS 2007 - WORD & PUBLISHER (which is best)?
Writing is about making a picture. Most of the answers I have read are
careless in their talent to make a step by step picture.... how to "set up a
file" to put stuff in all 4 sections of a standard postcard sheet that you
buy at Home Depot. I have tried to find the answer on You Tube. So... once
and for all... please, I invite your talent and hard work to help once and
for all: How to fill 4 postcards and mail merge?
Thank You from the MUTTMIND.

*I concider my request to be a standard business problem - review: Standard
postcard sheets - put stuff in each postcard and mail merge.

Your Post mentioned solves a part of the puzzle; "publisher" is the way to go
for the business practice of "mucho" letters, postcards and mail merger: "If
you have access to Microsoft Publisher, then this is a much better tool for
producing labels with graphics than Microsoft Word." Muttmind - this link
mentions publisher but speaks about word.... and wasted reading time... water
marks.

How to make 4 postcard cells on a standard sheet - not there.

As fas as Word is concerned Postcards are labels. Choose your label blank to
match your postcard stock from the vast list of label layouts provided. Then
the process is simply one of merge
http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_lab...th_word_xp.htm or
http://www.gmayor.com/merge_labels_with_word_2007.htm . If you want to merge
to both sides of the card then you will probably need
http://www.gmayor.com/duplex_merge_data.htm

Or if you prefer, as I indicated on my web page to which you were referred,
Publisher makes the process of combining graphics and text on labels
simpler, but my web site (and this forum) is about Word and not Publisher,
so if you want to investigate the way to do it with Publisher you need a
different web site and a different forum.

As for your dismissal of watermarks, the web page you were referred to was
about graphics on labels. Watermarks are graphics.
