Default Merging in Word from Excel

I have 1600 lines of data but each line is not unique to itself - it is a
list of agents with policy numbers. There are several hundred agents - but
not 1600 as many of the agents have multiple policy numbers assigned to them.
I am trying to create a letter addressed to the agent that list their
specific policy numbers. How do I do this without having the agent name
repeat itself for each policy number?

See fellow MVP Macropod's "Word 97-2007 Catalogue/Directory Mailmerge
Tutorial" at:
http://www.wopr.com/index.php?showtopic=731107
or
http://www.gmayor.com/Zips/Catalogue%20Mailmerge.zip
Do read the tutorial before trying to use the mailmerge document included
with it as you must get the mail merge main document set up exactly as
required.

Hope this helps.

Any chance of getting the tutorial in another format - maybe via email? I
can't open the attachement due to restrictions set-up by our IS department.

Send your email address to me and I will send it to you. You will need to
remove the uppercase letters from the posting address that I use.
