Office Upgrade from Network CD
XP SP-2. Office SBE 2003. I just bought a laptop that does not have an in-built CD-ROM drive. I can, however, map to a drive on my network. I have legitimate, Full versions of Office (97 & Premium). I have Upgrade versions of Office XP and Office 2003. I'd like to install Office 2003 directly. When I run the Upgrade CD it asks me for the location of the previous version. Despite having copied files from the other CDs onto C drive, it won't pick them up. Likewise, the mapped drive is not present in the drop-down list. Is there any way in which I can install Office 2003 Upgrade directly from a mapped CD-ROM drive? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Glm |
