Default Power Point Freezing

I have a deck of slides - only about 55 or so but after NEARLY EVER 4 edits
(moving a text box or changing the background and a font size) the thing
freezes up. I have compressed photos, etc done every fix I can find to do
and NOTHING HELPS - I have spent nearly 12 hours working on 45 slides this is
unbearable.

I have heard of extreme slowness and freezing related to font issues.
Make sure your presentation only has the fonts you require by using
the command for "advanced document properties" (which lists
which fonts are part of the presentation) .
