Default ####### in Cell

I am typing text in a cell and then I get to a point and it just turns it to
a bunch of # signs...#####################

Why is that happening???

Thanks in advance for your review and hopeful for a reply.

Default ####### in Cell

Format the cell as General (or anything but Text) and reenter the value (F2
followed by Enter should be enough).

Excel has trouble strings between 256 and 1024 characters in cells formatted as
Text.
