Default Uninstalling Office after backup harddrive crashed

I'm having a major probem. My backup harddrive crashed and
upon removal of it and installation of a new one my office
2000 now tells me it can't find the information need to
run and that I need to reinstall it. The problem is that
it now keeps telling me that I don't have a valid patch
version and it won't let me install office or outlook ect,
nor can I uninstall office because of this. I need to
reinstall office so I can get my email back out of
outlook. Someone metioned a removal wizard but I need
access to the cd to get this. Does anyone have a solution
to this problem, other then a complete reload ??
Thanks,
Dan
