Default How do I make calendar gridlines and clipart show in Publisher?

We have an odd problem on this pc. When starting with a calendar template
and various other templates, the gridlines and clipart do not show in office.
We have tried reinstalling and repairing office, but it still does not show.
It does however show when printing.

View, check boundaries and guides...View, pictures, detailed display.
Turn the acceleration down on your adapter, control panel, display folder, settings
tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab...
If this solves your issue, go to the manufacturer's web site and look around for an
upgraded video driver.
