Can you import a picture
If you can import a picture into Publisher, what kind of file are the
pictures. Can I save a file as a .jpg and then place it into publisher. Can you put text over a picture? Can I create a file in photoshop, save it as a ..jpg and place it in Publisher? I am in a rut trying to figure this program out. I was told that a designer was taking InDesign files and saving them in Publisher so that the recipient could go into the document and add a logo if they wanted one or their name etc. I have never used Publisher like this so I am trying to see if there is anyway to do this. Thanks again, |

Can you import a picture
You can insert almost any image into Publisher if you save it as a common extension.
Have you tried "paste special" when you copy? You can put text over a picture, bring the text to the front. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "Graphix grl" wrote in message ... Can you import a picture
I think what she wants to be able to do tho is to still be able to edit the
layout after she turns it into a .jpg and imports it into Publisher. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "Ed Bennett" wrote in message ...
