Default desktop search in windows 7

i dont know how to add the desktop search window to the lower windows bar to
search
also how to add the search window to outlook as well ??

trying to replicate how i had it with xp pro ..

Which version of Outlook are you using?

The Taskbar search option is gone as it has been integrated in the Start
Menu. Simply press the Windows Logo key on your keyboard and start typing to
do a search.

Thanks for oyur reply. Now how to filter the search results by type of
file as it was in desktop search 4 / xp ?
once you get the results its not as easy to manipulate them
suggestions ?
