Default Searching Sub-Forms

I recently had to break a large table into several smaller tables (reached
the max fields). I revamped a form I had used for the larger table into a
main form with several sub-forms so that the new form is in the same general
configuration as the original form.

Is there a way to be able to search a field on one of the subforms when the
form and all it's subforms (as controls) are displayed?
