Is it possible to insert a PDF into an MS publisher document in the same way
you would a picture?

Thanks for that. I suppose that you could also in Acrobat save file as a TIFF
and then insert that. Not surprisingly you can open PDFs in Adobe Pagemaker,
but even then you do not seem to be able to copy and paste into Publisher.

Only if you convert it to an EPS file.

You can accomplish this using GhostScript in conjunction with GSView, both
available from
http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/

Yes, you can convert to a TIFF or PNG file (PNG is more reliable with
Publisher), but make sure it is of a high enough resolution for your
publication.
