Default Publisher Limitations

Can anyone tell me whether there is a recommended limit to the number of
products Publisher (03 or 07) can handle as a website? If I plan, say, 100 -
200 products with images and text, is this overloadig the system, would it
make it unmanageably - or adversely affect it in any other way?

Default Publisher Limitations

Publisher is a DTP that can produce html. It is best used for relatively
simple, small and static websites and the larger the site gets, the more
difficult it will be to manage with Publisher. I would suggest that you
consider other software for an ecommerce site as that dynamic functionality
while possible in a Publisher web, is probably beyond the scope of Publisher
webs. And before you ask what software you should use, please reference the
post "Software" by John Mallo on the 25th on the web design group:
