Default adjusting size

Hi,
I use word 2003
For some reason the properties tab suggests that I want the table's column
width and row height to be a certain size. When I uncheck these properties
and hit apply, I am still unable to manually adjust the size of the
individual rows or columns. When I go back to check the properties the
buttons for setting a certain size are still checked (even though I
unchecked them and hit apply, okay, etc) I'm certain I'm doing something
wrong.

Thanks

Default adjusting size

On the Table tab of Table | Properties, click Options and disable auto
resizing.
