Outlook2000 calendar appointment colors
In the Outlook2000 calendar, is it possible to color-code the appointment
items? The default view of "Day/week/month" where the calendar appears as a table containing appointment items, all I've got is gray appointments on a gray or white background. Ideally I'd like to color-code based on the appointment's category - e.g, default=gray, "Work"=blue, "Holidays"=green, etc. I'm VB fluent, so I'd even be willing to write a "Save As" macro that could set the desired color? Thanks, Andrew. |

No. That kind of color-coding was introduced in Outlook 2002. It doesn't
exist in Outlook 2000. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Andrew Howell" wrote in message ... Only in a list view. Outlook 2002 and later support colors in the
day/week/month views. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Many thanks for the replies, guess it's time to upgrade anyway. As a
single-user, is it worth all the collaborative overhead to upgrade to Office2003 or just 2002? |

I don't know what you mean by "collaborative overhead." As for Outlook
2003's features, see http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2003/newfeatures.htm .. It's a long list. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "AndrewH" wrote in message ...
