Default Website is not the same as I made in Publisher

Hi,

I have published my website wih Pub 2003 and got the following issues:

1. The distance between text lines became closer
2. Graphics are not in the same position as the text.
3. Text in the buttons is positioned higher
4. I use to use firefox, but the site is almost un-recognisable. With
IE I got the abovementioned issues.

Bart
I used a widescreen laptop for the conversion, but viewed the results
on a normal monitor.

Bart,

The issue of web pages looking different on a laptop and a monitor with
standard resolution settings, is a common issue in the web discussion group.
If you want to use the laptop, you can try to use either the native
resolution, or reset the resolution to the resolution of a standard monitor,
with varied results. Your best choice is probably to produce the HTML files
on the computer using the monitor. Although then the pages may be skewered
on your laptop, they at least will look correct for most users. There has
been no answer to this for every situation.

Make sure you are not trying to use word wrap. This and other common
formatting options in print documents such as indents, tabs, and line
spacing are not supported in Publisher 2003 web documents.

Publisher 2003 web documents are designed to work best in IE and do not have
good cross browser support, including FireFox. No solution other than
perhaps make your page as simple as possible.
