Unable to read file
The file could be corrupt. Ask the sender to resend the
same file. But before doing so, make sure the sender is able to open it from his/her end. If he/she is able to open it, then you should be able to open it too (assuming both of you have the same version excel) hth

The sender now has the same problem, can't open the file too.
