Default re-install upgrade version of 97

I just had a disk crash. I wish to re-install office 97.
the install prog asks for a previous version or qualified
program. What is a qualified program or how can I get
around this. By the way... it IS an original and I DO
have the cd key.

You will need the product you used for the original installation for the
product qualification. Upgrade licenses require that you retain this
media - if you did not, your license is void.

You may have original, and its key, but unless you still poccess the
origonal product you used for the upgrade you no longer have a licence for
the O97 upgrade
