Default Office 2007 Pro Plus - Not installed for this user error

I recently had a problem with Adobe CS3 - and have now fixed that, but I when
I try to start Outlook, it gord though a 'Please wait while Installing..."
and "Configuring office application" followed by "Microsoft Office Outlook
has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the
application".

I have since completely removed MS Office, including the registry entries
suggested on Technet, re-booted, and re-installed choosing 'Run all from my
computer' option. I now get the aforementioned behaviour on all my Office
apps.

I am running Vista Ultimate 64, and am logged in as an administrator
equivalent, without password enabled.

Any suggestions - I am desperate as I can not get to my diary which is in my
..PST file!!

gord=goes!

ps. This happens on ALL office apps, not just outlook, and is only since I
corrected the CS3 error (by removing and re-installing, including using Adobe
reg cleaner, and the MS 'Windows Install clean up').

I'm having exactly the same issue (running Vista 64 aswell). Reinstalling
Office didn't work for me either.

Note: Office worked fine until I installed VS2008 RTM - now I can't open any
office application other than under my admin account... (I also had to turn
UAC off)
