Office 2007 Upgrade in English and Office 2003 in French?

Can you install an office 2007 Upgrade in English over an Office 2003 in
French? If so, what would be the consequences? Would it be easier to
install the Upgrade in French and buy the English Language package for Office?

No consequenses I can think of, when you run the upgrade setup it will run a
detection of previous versions of Office that qualify for the upgrade, if
one exists you enter your key and click the Upgrade button, once you do that
it will remove the previous versions by default. You can change the removal
of previous versions by clicking on Custom instead of Upgrade.

Best that you Uninstall Office 2003 and then start the clean install of Office 2007
and when it asks for a qualifying product then insert the Office 2003 as proof.
