Default All Office 2000 programs open during Boot Process

18 August 2004

All (yes, ALL) of the Office Professional 2000 programs in
the Suite open before the boot up process is completed.

I have tried the Detect and Repair feature, the
Maintenance Wizard, and re-booting. The programs still
continue to open before the boot-up process completes. How
do I fix this problem?

I am using Office Professional 2000 with Windows 98 SE.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you for your
time.

Juan

Look in your startup folder or msconfig to uncheck these items from opening.

Thanks! I went to Msconfig and unchecked the Office=20
programs that were auto loading, they were all grouped=20
together and not difficult to find. I never saw them=20
before, and have no idea how they were checked.

The Microsoft Office Tools program still loads at the end=20
of the boot sequence. I tried to find it in the Msconfig=20
section to turn it off, but was unsuccessful. Can you=20
suggest how I can turn that one of so that it doesn't auto=20
load?

Than you for all of your time and assistance

Juan
