Help! Cannot Register MSRCLR40.DLL
I get the above message when installing Office 2003. I
can't get past it except to choose "Ignore". I first installed last December and everything has worked fine except Axxess 2003. Now I want to use Access 2003, but I can't because soon after starting, I get an error "Object Library not loaded". Help says to reregister or reinstall, which always gives me the first message. I am running on Windows 2000, installing when logged in as Administrator. We also have Visual Studio .NET 2003, Word 2000 and Office 97 (Access, Excel, Photo Ed & Publisher). All versions work fine except Access 2003, although we really haven't used Visual Studio .NET much yet. Any help is appreciated. |

The dll is part of the 'jet' db engine
I know Access97 will coexist with Access2K, if installed into seperate folders, I would assume the same for Access2003. Perhaps the correct version of the dll isnt installed. The component checker may help http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Presumably you've seen this, with regard problems installing other versions http://support.microsoft.com/default...roduct=off2003 "TechniMom" wrote in message ...
