Default Reports not opening on all machines

I have an .mdb with several reports. This .mdb is on a network location and
is accessed by about 8 different computers on the intranet. On some of the
computers, the reports open and print fine. On others, when we open the
report it just closes Access. I have found that I can print the reports on
these machines from design view but they will not open in preview mode. All
machines have one or more network printers installed installed on them.

Any ideas?

Ray, you may get a clue by asking, "What's characteristic of the machines
where it works, verses the machines where if fails?"

Different versions of Access? Could be a corrupt binary (requiring a
decompile.)

Different service packs? Could require an Office update from:
http://support.microsoft.com/sp/

Different versions of msjet40.dll (typically found in windows\system32)?
Could require a JET service pack update from:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/239114

Different printers? Could require updated printer drivers.

Is everyone trying to use the same MDB file at the same time? Split it so
everyone has their own local copy of the front end:

If it's been crashing, there's a good chance the database is at least partly
corrupt. Here's some info on rescuing it:
