Default 550 must be authenicated

Hi
My Outlook in installed new, but when sending E-mails i get the Mail back
with the comment:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'My name' on 22.06.2006 09:39

550 must be authenticated

What does that mean ?????

It means that your ISP requires "Outbound SMTP Authentication". Each version
of Outlook has a different way to get to the settings, but in general the
settings are the same.

Try going to your email properties - Tools/Account Settings, then from your
email profile, go to "Change" your email account, then click on the More
Settings button, and the Outgoing Server tab. Stick a checkmark in the box
for outgoing server requires authentication, and tell it to use the same
settings as your incoming server. Save these settings and try sending mail
again. If this doesn't work, then you will need to contact your ISP for the
settings they require.
