Default Windows installer

My 60 day trial period of Microsoft Office has expired. I tried to purchase
the code online and that didn't work. Now I can't get Outlook or word to
open. A Windows Installer box opens and says:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is
unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder
containing the installation package "511735MAINSP1op.msp" in the box below.

I have tried to install my owned version of OfficeXP and that doesn't work
either.

AARRGGG!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

And from WHERE did you download this "code"?

Have you tried uninstalling the demo version of MS Office and then
installed the non-demo version?

I tried to download the code from the microsoft website, but I couldn't....
it just took me to a blank screen.

I have not had a chance to unistall the demo and re-install the non-demo. I
am almost afraid to do that... afraid I will lose all my spread sheets and
such for work.

Thanks

So if you never got the download, just what are you installing?

You will need to uninstall the demo version first. Move your files to
CD-R or other removable media. They aren't in the folders for the
programs, anyway. If your data is important then you should already be
doing backups. Drives fail, malware deletes files, users delete files,
and other factors result in data loss.

Did you download the upgrade version of Office 2003? You cannot upgrade
unless you have a prior VALID version of Office, and a demo obviously
does not qualify as a prior valid version. You'll need to download the
full version.

I am wanting to install the OfficeXP that I have. I have tried to unistall
the trial version and the Windows Installer box pops up there too. I called
HP since this trial version was installed on my laptop when I bought it.
After being on the phone with them for over 45r minutes they told me to call
MS.
