Default can't access distribution lists in outlook 2007 after data migration

greetings, I just got a new computer and my husband migrated all my data, including from outlook 2007. All the distribution lists are there in the contacts with no problem, but I can't access them when I go to write a new email. all I can see is the main "contacts". Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Also, in the process of trying to "fix" it myself (never a good idea!), I added another version of the contacts folder and now there are duplicate distribution lists, one of them saying "contacts in personal folders", in other words, each one is duplicated with the words "in personal folders" after it. How do I get rid of this?

And...while I have you on the phone :-), is there a way in outlook 2007 to customize the folders and have outlook copy the format of that folder across the board to every folder? It is SO time-consuming to repeat the formatting for dozens and dozens of folders. I know you could do this in Outlook 2003 but it wasn't the same in 2007.

thanks so so so much!

How did you migrate the data? If you just make a new profile and connect the
old pst, you'll have your groups and folder views.
