Update installing over and over
64-bit Vista Home Premium
Update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Junk Email Filter (KB970012) is repeatedly installing here. No sooner do I respond to the prompt to install it that a few minutes later it appears again as a new important update. Funny thing is, I don't even HAVE Office 2007. I do however have Office Professional 2003. How do I dispense with this repeated update? Tom -- remove .spoo to reply by email |

You set updates to ignore / hide this update

wrote: You set updates to ignore / hide this update I couldn't figure out how to hide the update, so I shut off the option to use Microsoft Update. This has stopped the update from returning, but as soon as I turned Windows Update service back on, the update reappeared. With Windows Update service turned off, I now only get informed about an optional update: IE 8 And if you open Outlook, does it show that its the 2003 version? yes Tom -- remove .spoo to reply by email |

Update installing over and over
You run MS Update from IE, when it opens view the menu options on the left
