Default disabled macros in document

I'm not finding what I'm looking for when I search.

I have a document, that when I open it has the Macro options grayed
out. It also has forms on it that I cannot seem to change.

Other documents that I have opens normally, so it must be some start-
up macro/code embedded in this document.

Is there a way that I can disable this so I can open the document to
make modifications to it?

Thanks

It sounds likely to be a protected form. Unless it is password-protected,
you can probably use Tools | Unprotect Document to unlock it. If that
doesn't work, then you can insert it into a new blank document (using Insert
| File), which removes the protection.

Thank you. Tools - Unprotect did the trick nicely.
