Default Office XP Issue

Alright, here is my dilemma....

I am running Windows 2000 Pro and have been using MS Office XP (Version10.0.2627) on it for the past few years....the computer crashed due to a virus and so I had to reinstall Windows 2000 Pro...unfortunately I can't find the office CDs, but it appears that all of the MS Office files, programs, etc are still on the computer....however, when I attempt to open Word, etc. it starts up with an "unknown user" and "unregistered version"...and then I recieve an error message that says the program has not been installed for this user and to run the "setup"...unfortunately I assume "setup" is on the MS Office CDs...is there any hope in salvaging MS Office w/o the CDs and the setup program?

Thanks,

AJ

You are correct in assuming you need the CDs to install Office XP. You might
try calling the following number to see if they can order one for you at a
discount. Otherwise, you can check on EBay or buy Office 2003.
