Default Uninstall Office XP before installing Office 2007?

Have purchased Office 2007 Ultimate to install on XP Desktop and Vista Home
Basic laptop. Currently running Office XP Professional on both.

Should I uninstall Office XP before installing Office 2007?? Or simply
install 2007 over the top of Office XP?

Thanks

Paddy

Your choice, an installation 'over the top' should offer to upgrade
If you use Outlook you would be advised to create a new format pst file and
use this as the default.

Thanks. I uninstalled Office XP and let Office 2007 Ultimate install.

You will still have to address the Outlook 'issue'

No - I haven't previously used Outlook. I don't (or at least not hitherto)
used the laptop for email etc.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Paddy
