Publisher 2002 Mail Merge with a Chart
Ok, Here it goes....
I'm using Publisher 2002 on Windows XP doing a Mail Merge from an Excel spread sheet. (Before anyone tells me to change to a CSV, the spread sheet is working just fine for now, but if I have problems I will change) The problem I am having is that I want to make a chart on the Publisher Document based on the Data from the Mail Merge. Is this even possible? I know that just creating the chart from the Excel data with out linking it to the Merge Fields will just put the same data on every chart regardless of what data was merged. If it's not possible with Publisher, is it possible from Word? Thanks in advance, Jay A. Moritz |

Hi Jay Moritz ),

The only work around I can think of is actually have the chart created in Excel, and then OLE linking to that chart in your excel book through Publisher. -- Brian Kvalheim Microsoft Publisher MVP http://www.mvps.org/publisher This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. |
