Default Unwanted text wrapping

I am adding text to a shape (Rectangle tool) in Visio2007 and find it is
wrapping when I don't want it to. It is going to about 60% of the width of
the shape only. I tried it also using the text tool, but the behaviour is
the same. I suspect it may be because I'm doing something unusual. I'm
making a sign that's 2 metres long, so the text is 220 point. Is there any
way of getting the text to continue within the shape on one line?

You can adjust the wrapping in the rectangle somewhat by zeroing out the
margins. Right click on the rectangle, select Format - Text and adjust the
settings.

The easiest way to solve this, though, is to simply create a separate text
box, set it to the desired size/width, and drag it over your rectangle.

I seem to remember this being a known bug where the text always wraps
at something like 56 inches. Change the document scaling might help.
