design view colors

The box for details in design view is transparent so is the properties box in
design view in quiereies how do I change?

I scan old newsgroup postings that do not have responses, trying to
determine why no one bothered to react to your initial inquiry, dated
11/25/2004, titled "design view colors".
Your posting might have been bypassed for one or more of the following
