Addind a Dictionary
Does anyone know how to add a medical dictionary to Word? I have purchased a
medical dictionary but cannot figure out how to get Word to communicate with it or vice versa. Thanks a bunch! |

Addind a Dictionary
Didn't your software come with instructions? (I would think that anyone who
creates an add-in would tell you how to install it.) Which version of Word are you using? -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "ybliku2" wrote in message ... Adding a Dictionary
My Office is Office 2007. The company I bought it from had sent instructions
for Windows XP as the oP. I am in Windows Vista...but my problem is the dictionary itself maybe. I have it in Office and have selected it to be my default dictionary. But it doesn't work that way..I always come up with the dictionary that came with Office. Thanks for your help\\\ ybliku2 "JoAnn Paules" wrote: Didn't your software come with instructions? Adding a Dictionary
Take it up with the company that supplied the dictionary. Surely they will
be better placed to advise on how their dictionary works in conjunction with Word than correspondents in a newsgroup who don't even know anything about the anonymous dictionary? -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org ybliku2 wrote: My Office is Office 2007. Adding a Dictionary
OK, that makes sense to me. Just thought that I perhaps could get some
advice on how to install an add-on and since the add-on was going into Word, that someone could advise. Thought maybe someone has had the problem and was familiar with it. So sorry for wasting your time. |
