Default EXCEL WORK BOOK DUPLICATES WHEN OPENED

An Excel work sheet that I received, opens 5 copies when I double click to
open ( NOT WORK SHEETS ) It opens the same workbook 5 times.

How to avoid this ?

Close 4 of them and then Save the file.
