HELP!! Linked Table Manager Problems
I am having troubles with the Linked Table Manager. When I
invoke it with the check box to prompt for a new location I get a message indicating I do not have access to a specific directory which under the database options general tab turns out to be the default database window. The original message indicated my MyDocuments directory which I have full privilege to. Also, I have admin privileges on the computer in question. I have tried repairing the file. I have tried compacting the file. I have tried changing directories to another directory I have full privileges to. Nothing works! What is going on!! HELP!! Kevin |

HELP!! Linked Table Manager Problems
Need more information.
i.e. What is the operating system What version of Access Do you have all updates installed for the OS and Access. If 2000/XP, what errors if any in the event log. With Access closed are ther any *.ldb files on the computer Are you using the standard System.mdw Have you used Access security. Keep in mind, for any one to help, they need as much information as they can because they are not in front of your machine. This isn't a normal problem and something isn't allowing this to happen. This information should help to narrow it down. RK |

HELP!! Linked Table Manager Problems
It must have been internal corruption in the mdb file. I
was having other problems as well. All some pretty strange stuff so I created a new application file from scratch linked tables then imported modules, macros, forms, etc. into it and now everything works perfectly. Thanks!!
