Problem with EULA popup window
Hey all
Quick question I used the migration wizard to move a users profile to a new computer, both computers had office 2003 installed, the new one had it pre installed from Dell. After firing up office for the first time I entered the CD key, activated the product, and accepted the EULA all as the administrator of the machine. For some reason every time the user of the machine login and starts up an office app the EULA dialogue popup and make them accept the license. Actually, ever time they start and office app it makes them except the EULA over again. Any ideas on how to stop this? Thanks James |

Problem with EULA popup window
You must log in as the adminsitrator user and accept the EULA. It should go
away after that. Hth, G. -- ============================== Gyorgy Moldova, MCSE+I Office Systems MVP E-mail: Messenger: "Just an average Slytherin student..." "James Lavery" wrote in message ... Problem with EULA popup window
Hi James,
Besides Gyorgy's suggestion, I would suggest you have a check to see whether the new machine has other version Office installed. In addition, please find the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0 and right-click and go to permissions, make sure that ADMINISTRATORS and SYSTEM had full control set to allow. Hope it helps.
