Default Taking formatting from one document & applying it to others

Hello-

I have a Word document that I need to take the formatting from (not text, just formatting commands) and apply this to several other existing Word documents. I have read about styles and templates, but my office assistant does not give enough instruction, and no one I know knows how to do this.

Does anyone here know how?

Step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated!

I am using Word 2003.

Thanks in advance.

Dear DMcD,

Try using Format|Styles then the organiser in the Styles
window. Just follow the sequence.
