Default "run mIcrosoft outlook minimized"

Can outlook be run minimized i.e. in the background or in the taskbar?

With Outlook 2002 and upward, you can minimize it to the notification area
of the task bar. With OL 2002, it takes a registry edit. With OL 2003 (and
presumably OL 2007), right-click the Outlook icon in the notification area
dna choose "Hide When Minimized".
