how can I change the date on multiple tasks at the same time?

I have multiple tasks that are overdue and I want to change all of their due
dates at the same time.

If you group them by Due Date, you can drag them into another group. So use
the Tasks folder, turn on the Group By box (Advanced Toolbar) and drag Due
date into the Group By Box.

Change the Due date of one Task manually. Now select and drag many of them
into that group at once.
