Activation office 2007 professional when starting picture manager
Hello,
For one of our customers we installed Office 2007 SBE during setup we select everything except access 2007 Now when the customer tries to start picture manager, the activation wizard pops up with a screen to tell that access 2007 is not included in our version and we can upgrade to the professional edition. Because we don't need access 2007, we choose close. Picture manager starts, but all the options to edit pictures are gray. As far as we know, picture manager should be included in all office 2007 editions right? What can we do to stop this for the customer very annoying pop-up and to use picture manager? I hope somebody can help us, Thanks, Marco Bleeker DKG Automatisering |

Hi Marco,
As MS Access isn't included in MS Office 2007 Small Business Edition it's not quite clear what you mean regarding having selected everything except Access 2007 during setup (i.e. it's not there to choose/not choose). Were you using a higher level edition product CD? Is there an app/utility on the system that needs the MS Access Runtime package perhaps? Office Picture Manager is in each MS Office 2007 Suite. Check to see if it's set to 'run from my computer' in the Microsoft Office 2007 listing in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel. "DKG Automatisering" wrote in message ... Activation office 2007 professional when starting picture manager
Hello Bob,
I think the customer maybe installed the trial version of office 2007 professional, since it's included with the other editions. I had a look at the add/remove programs setup of office 2007, and I saw access 2007 in there but with a red cross, all other options are set run from my computer. Maybe I should try to uninstall everything and make a fresh install Thanks! Marco Bleeker "Bob Buckland ?:-)" 75214.226(At Beautiful Downtown)compuserve.com wrote in message ... Activation office 2007 professional when starting picture manager
Hi guys i have the same problem. For one of my customers i installed Office 2007 SBE during setup i selected complete installation. Now when the customer tries to start picture manager, the activation wizard pops up with a screen to tell that access 2007 trail version has expired and that we can purchase the proffesional edition. When i say close, Picture manager starts, but all the options to edit pictures are gray. Always ininstall the trial software first. Unless (for example) you are
using the trial of Pro and then buy the Pro edition. Anything other than situaltions similar to that, you could have issues. Actually, if it was my system, I'd dump the trial completely then install the paid version - but that's just me. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] ~~~~~ How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/KB/555375 "Mal3k666" wrote in message ... Hi what do u mean dump the trail version and install the paid version?? Microsoft Office 2007 Small Bussiness Edition is a paid version. It has Word,Outlook,Excel,Publisher and Powerpoint. It says your current edition includes these programs. Access is the only one not included in the package. And this is where the problem lies cuase thats why we bought Small Bussiness edition whe dont need Access and the other extra stuff. Is there somewhere i can email u the screen shot??
